Performing at the Kunsthalle Vienna

On the
19th of August, I’m performing
live with my band
zeichensprecher at the
Kunsthalle in Vienna / project space, Karlsplatz.
The site project space is used for any type of quick, current intervention between installation and performance. As the Kunsthalle Wien’s laboratory it is the only gallery in Austria whose exhibitions and other events also take place in the evenings all year round. The project space focuses on developing exhibition ideas at the interface between the public space and the museum situation and also offers art lectures, discussions, DJ-line-ups, concerts, and symposia.
It remains to mention, that there’s an exhibition going on the same time about psychedelic art of the 60′s and early 70′s from the Tate Gallery Liverpool in Hall 1 called Summer Of Love… don’t miss that :) !

Am 19. August 2006 geben wir ein Konzert in der Kunsthalle Wien / project space am Karlsplatz!
Der project space wird für schnelle, aktuelle Interventionen zwischen Installation und Performance genutzt. Das Labor der Kunsthalle Wien ist das einzige Haus in Österreich, dessen Ausstellungen und sonstige Programme ganzjährig auch nachts geöffnet sind. Der project space entwickelt Ausstellungsideen an der Schnittstelle zwischen öffentlichem Raum und Museumssituation und bietet zusätzlich Kunst-Lectures, Diskussionen, DJ-Line-ups, Konzerte und Symposien an.
Bleibt nur noch zu erwähnen, dass zur gleichen Zeit eine Ausstellung über die psychedelische Kunst der 60er und frühen 70er Jahre aus der Tate Sammlung Liverpool in Halle 1 zu sehen ist: Summer Of Love… wenn das nicht genügend Gründe für einen Wien-Trip sind…
