Q: Is it possible to hide the Dock Icon
A: Yes. Go to Preferences > RateMe > Hide Dock Icon
Q: I have selected “Hide RateMe if iTunes not running”, but the Icon is still in the Dock
A: This option is named badly, it should read: “Hide System Tray Icon if iTunes not running”. To disable the Dock icon go to Preferences > RateMe > Hide Dock Icon
Q: I cannot rate anything, RateMe is greyed out.
A: You have to play something in iTunes. If iTunes isn’t playing any track, you won’t be able to rate something. If you launched RateMe after iTunes and “Keep track of iTunes” is not set, you have to pause iTunes briefly, so that RateMe knows what’s the current track.
