I has been brought to my attention that the built in web server preview in Procoding for OSX is not working on some (mostly laptop) computers, probably due to a recent operation system update. I temporarily pulled the OSX version from the app store and am working high priority on finding a fix. Will keep you updated. Sorry for any inconvenience.
The issue in detail:
– the preview files are saved correctly and can be viewed via file:///Users/<yourusername>/Library/Containers/de.audiocommander.procoding/Data/Library/Caches/de.audiocommander.procoding/~TemporaryItems/Previews/index.html
– the preview files via localhost:8080, 127.0.0.1:8080, IP-address:8080 or bonjour-address:8080 are broken and denied by the system with a 405 code
– the error is not appearing on every computer. I can reproduce this behaviour only on my MacBook Air. It is not reproducible on a Mac Mini. All systems run Mac OS Sierra, latest version and are in the same network
Procoding for iOS doesn’t seem to be affected.
