Given Procoding’s capabilities as a Processing IDE, is there any way to integrate Joshua Davis’ HYPE framework?

    Hello Joseph,

yes, it’s actually pretty easy: just add “Hype.pde” as resource and it’ll load automatically.

    Procoding Mobile:
    – put the file via iTunes in the Apps documents folder
    – create a new Processing.js document
    – open the editor, select the Resource Manager
    – Import Hype.pde from iTunes Documents

    Procoding for Mac OSX:
    – open the resources sidebar panel
    – drag Hype.pde into the resources list

I’ve tested this with the Magnetic Demo and it worked just fine.

    Best,
    Michael

    Michael,

This is awesome! Thanks for the reply. I’m taking Joshua Davis’ Skillshare course in generative art, and now that I can use HYPE in Procoding on both mobile and desktop platforms, it makes taking the course so much easier!

    Thanks!
